On February 23-27, 2015, took place the V International Scientific and Technical Conference «Lighting Engineering and
Power Engineering: History, Problems, Prospects». The work of the conference began on February 23 in the reading room of our
university from registration of conference participants. After lunch, on the same day, the participants moved to the venue of
the conference. Plenary and sectional meetings of the conference took place on February 24-26 at the hotel «Malyvo» in Yaremche,
Ivano-Frankivsk region. All speaker’s speeches were accompanied by lively and meaningful discussions. The scientists exchanged
experience on current problems in lighting engineering and power engineering. The work of the conference was successfully combined
with excursions to the ski resort «Bukovel» at the Carpathian Mountains. In memory of all the participants of the conference sticked
upon memory pleasant impressions and memories.
